Waxing is a method of semi-permanent hair removal which removes the hair from the root. Warm wax is spread onto the skin and then removed quickly with a soft paper strip. Dead skin and hair are removed with the wax leaving smooth soft skin for a period of 2 to 8 weeks at which time the procedure should be repeated. Repeated waxing over along period of time will result in a permanent reduction in growth as well as a softer and lighter appearance in the hair that does re grow.
